Vision and mission

The school’s philosophy is to provide a safe, structured and supportive environment where staff is able to teach and students are able to learn.  Given the nature of our student’s behaviors, efforts are put forth to provide children with the opportunity to replace negative, unproductive behaviors and habits with positive and healthy ones.

The focus and goals of the academic, pre-vocational and clinical components of our program are intended to prepare students academically, vocationally, socially and emotionally so that they may one day return to their sending districts as positive, contributing members of their school communities.

Mount Carmel Guild Academy is rooted in the philosophy that every child is capable of success. The  dedicated staff recognize the unique need of each student and develop appropriate programs though differentiated instruction and a multi-sensory approach to learning.
