The MCGA Transition Program is designed to assist our high school students in making a smooth transition from high school to adult life. All student’s in our transition program are exposed to the following:
MCGA students begin their “work career” participating in programs developed within the school. These in-school job placements provide the opportunity to practice good work habits and apply appropriate behaviors, while also developing skills that may be required for employment such as maintenance, cashier, cook, etc.,
Our Social Workers also work closely with our transition students to prepare them before graduation to assist students and their families with the important task of registering with the Division of Developmental Disabilities, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and or Workforce Development.
