ALL GRADES
The school day for all students will begin at 8:15 AM, where all students and staff will eat breakfast as a community. Students and classroom staff are to sit together as a class. At the conclusion of breakfast, there will be a community meeting during which important announcements will be made, important activities / events will be acknowledged / discussed. Each community meeting will be concluded with all students and staff standing and reciting the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.
As the “point day” begins with arrival / breakfast, students should be given their point cards for the day during breakfast.
The breakfast time period should be used as a time when staff can interact with students. Homeroom teachers SHALL have their student record / attendance books in their possession at breakfast for the purpose of recording attendance. At the conclusion of the morning meeting, all students and staff will report to their classrooms to begin the school day.
